The Indian Association Newcastle (IAN) is hosting a function to commemorate the Indian Independence Day on Sunday, 14th August 2022. This is a key event of the Indian Community in the Hunter region. The programme includes a cultural music and dance concert performed by talented members from the Hunter region. We are expecting about 300 attendees including Lord Mayors of Newcastle, Maitland, and Lake Macquarie. The function will be held at Newcastle City Hall.

IAN is a non-profit organisation representing the interests of Hunter residents with an Indian Heritage. It not only provides a platform to showcase Indian art and culture but also endeavours to foster healthy networking with local community.
